Job summary

W. W. Grainger invites students to join the Inside Sales Internship Program based in Lake Forest, IL. This 10-week experience focuses on sales, customer relationships, and hands-on training within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Participants will spend four weeks in foundational sales training, then work in a team-oriented sales center, contacting Grainger customers up to 40 hours per week to identify needs and deliver solutions. Housing support may be available.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028 for a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop Sales Skills through hands-on training and coaching.
• Build relationships with Grainger customers and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Receive mentorship from a peer mentor and manager for guidance and feedback.
