Job summary

Avnet's Newark division seeks an Inside Sales Representative for Defense & Aerospace. The role blends sales and technical knowledge to service new and existing accounts from Richfield, Ohio in a hybrid/Full-time capacity.

The candidate should have 2+ years in sales/support, familiarity with SAP/ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer-facing capabilities to drive revenue and margin growth within Avnet's portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP, ERP and order management.
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and WebEx.

Responsibilities

• Delivers solutions or finds new opportunities for a positive customer experience using sales methods.
• Initiates and answers sales inquiries from prospective and existing customers to promote offerings.
• Responds to information requests and follows up on sales activities through to order fulfillment.
• Maintains and grows sales with existing accounts through strong customer service.
