PromptCare in New Providence, NJ is seeking a highly motivated Reimbursement Specialist to manage patient billing and collections in a fast-paced homecare infusion setting. The role requires experience with electronic claims, insurance verification, and denials management.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a hybrid work arrangement, 40 hours per week, and comprehensive benefits. You will collaborate with Intake, PBM, and Billing teams to ensure timely reimbursements and adherence to

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid required.
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion and/or enteral preferred.
• Accounts receivable and accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR+ and Caretend software preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collections of third-party payor accounts for assigned payers.
• Follow-up on all revenue cycle aspects related to reimbursement including denials management and research.
• Maintain and update documentation to assist Intake Team with insurance policies and rules.
• Identify adjustments, payment trends and denials; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality in patient care and office environment.
• Collaborate with Intake & Reauthorization Specialist for timely collections.
• Assist the PBM and Billing Specialist with backlogs and month-end processes.
• Field calls from patients regarding benefits, claims and balances and provide resolutions.
• Proactively resolve billing issues that may arise.
• Perform CPR+/Caretend related transactions accurately and timely.
