Job summary

Lincoln Electric in the Greater Cleveland region seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and advance hybrid data center and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across enterprise platforms.

You will lead projects, mentor staff, and implement automation, monitoring, and operational procedures while coordinating on-call support and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure support (server, storage, backup, cloud).
• Experience leading infrastructure initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platform experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Experience administering enterprise backup solutions, preferably Commvault.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and advanced administration of hybrid infrastructure environments (AD, VMware, Windows/Linux servers, Azure, storage, backup).
• Serve as escalation point for complex infra issues and root cause analysis.
• Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations.
• Develop and maintain automation, monitoring, and operational procedures.
• Analyze infrastructure trends and capacity to improve reliability and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations and mentor junior staff.
