Job summary

SBA Communications Corporation is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer II to implement, maintain, and support on‑premises and collocated data center environments. You will report to the Director of Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering and work across AD, Entra ID, AVD, Intune, SAN storage, virtualization, and DR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in infrastructure engineering, supporting on‑premises, collocated, and hybrid environments, including demonstrated experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching activities.
• Strong proficiency in vulnerability remediation, patch management, operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Intermediate proficiency in data center operations (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper‑V), identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID), security scanning tools (Tenable, Qualys, or equivalent), Modern Workplace management (Microsoft AVD, Intune), and storage solutions (SAN/WAN).

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Operations & Support: Deploy, configure, and support on‑premises and collocated data center infrastructure.
• Security Remediation & Vulnerability Management: Remediate vulnerabilities and patching per SLAs.
• Identity & Access Management: Maintain Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Modern Workplace Management: Support Microsoft AVD and Intune environments.
• Storage & Virtualization: Manage SAN/NAS, VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Assist in DR planning and testing across on‑prem and Azure.
• Documentation: Maintain up‑to‑date infrastructure docs and runbooks.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving infra technologies.
• Completes other projects as assigned.
