Job summary

Sentry is seeking an Information Security Engineer. You will own a security domain, implement controls, automate processes, ensure compliance, and help reduce risk. Focus areas include cloud security, data protection, and security automation while maintaining systems and standards to support enterprise risk management.

You'll also participate in on-call rotations and contribute to security best practices. This role is based in Stevens Point, WI with a hybrid work model and no remote arrangement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Information Security, Networking, Systems Admin or CS; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls/proxy design, cryptography, AWS security, and data protection.
• Scripting experience required.
• Sec+, AWS SysOps Administrator, or GSEC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review security platforms for performance, availability, and capacity.
• Maintain patches and testing across security systems.
• Audit and test code to identify data security vulnerabilities.
• Align security plans and enforce controls across the organization.
• Lead security discussions and stay current with trends.
