Job summary

Sentry in Stevens Point, WI seeks an Information Security Engineer to own a security domain, implement controls, automate processes, and reduce risk.

You will manage cloud security, data protection, and incident response, serving as SME and influencing security policies. This on-site role follows our hybrid model with on-site work and limited remote options.

The role involves leading security improvements, audits, and collaboration with teams to strengthen defenses and responses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related information security experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of firewall/proxy design, cryptographic technologies, AWS security platforms, and data protection technologies.
• Scripting experience and automation of security processes.
• Sec+, AWS SysOps Administrator, or GSEC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the maturity and effectiveness of security platforms for performance, availability, and capacity.
• Implement patches and maintain information security policies, procedures, and systems.
• Conduct audits and code testing to identify data security vulnerabilities and mitigate threats.
• Lead security topics and collaborate across teams to improve defenses and incident response.
