Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston seeks an experienced Information Security Operations Manager to own day-to-day SecOps and lead a small team across network, endpoint, IAM, and productivity platforms. Responsibilities include threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and collaboration with a 24x7 MDR provider in line with NIST CSF.

This role is hybrid, based in Boston, with onboarding in office and ongoing in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Information Security Operations.
• Experience managing SOC/IR teams.
• Hands-on with SIEM, incident response, vulnerability management, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of AWS security services and cloud threat detection.
• Familiar with NIST CSF and regulatory audits.
• Excellent communication with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SecOps team, set goals, and drive performance.
• Oversee daily security operations: network, endpoint, IAM, and incident response.
• Guide e‑mail and productivity cloud administration and governance.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture to mature capabilities.
• Align SecOps to NIST CSF and internal policies; support audits.
