Job summary

Corewell Health offers a 14-week full-time hybrid Summer Internship in cybersecurity. Selected candidates will support the security team across monitoring alerts, incident investigations, documentation, dashboards and process improvements.

Open to candidates near three regions: Grand Rapids (West), Southfield (East), and St. Joseph (South). Requires enrollment in a degree program or recent graduation; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Recent graduates from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program may apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review security alerts.
• Research emerging cyber threats and assist with incident investigations.
• Document procedures, analyze trends and reports.
• Assist testing of security processes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Create dashboards and metrics.
• Support automation and process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with teams on security-related initiatives.
