Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking an Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure network infrastructures in a hybrid Irving, TX environment. The role focuses on enterprise firewall platforms, policy design, and multi-vendor threat prevention.

The ideal candidate will lead migration projects, work with Panorama, and manage security management systems to ensure compliance and robust protection. This is a full-time contract position with a 12+ month duration.

Qualifications

• Must design secure network policies and harden multi-vendor firewalls.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and management systems.
• Experience with security policy design and rule optimization.
• Familiarity with Panorama and template stacks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain secure infrastructures using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco routing/switching products.
• Lead migration projects, including policy analysis, configuration translation, and deployment using Expedition, FortiConverter, and SmartMove.
• Conduct security policy reviews, rule base optimization, and threat prevention tuning to align with compliance and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex multi-vendor network security issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
