Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a skilled Firewall Engineer to join our team in Irving, TX. This hybrid role combines onsite collaboration and remote work, with 3 days on site and 2 days remote each week.

You will design, deploy, and support secure, scalable network infrastructures, focusing on Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Cisco platforms. You will lead migration projects and ensure compliance and optimal performance across multi-vendor environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 2+ years focused on enterprise-grade network security engineering.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet platforms.
• Experience configuring and managing multi-vendor firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures.
• Lead firewall migration projects and deployments.
• Build and deploy new security infrastructures for growth.
• Review security policies and optimize rulebases.
• Troubleshoot security issues across multi-vendor environments.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and infra teams to integrate controls.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams and procedures.
• Respond to security events and participate in on‑call rotations.
