Job summary

Arctiq is seeking an Information Security Analyst II to support the client’s information security program in a hybrid Atlanta, GA setting. The role involves monitoring, investigating, and improving security across multiple platforms and vendors.

You will perform advanced analysis, collaborate with teams, and help automate security processes in a fast-paced environment. This mid-level role emphasizes ownership, judgment, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT, cybersecurity, CS, or related field (experience may be considered).
• 3–5 years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, IR, or similar roles.
• Strong incident-response, investigation, and evidence-handling skills.
• Solid knowledge of SIEM/SOC operations, EDR, email security, identity security, cloud security, and data-security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across enterprise technologies and platforms.
• Analyze security data to identify malicious activity, policy violations, and control gaps.
• Collaborate with teams, MSSPs, and vendors to improve detection, escalation, response, and automation.
• Lead or support response to moderate-to-complex security incidents and investigations.
• Document investigation timelines, findings, and actions for leadership and audits.
• Escalate high-severity incidents and maintain clear communications through closure.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and evidence collection.
• Participate in security assessments, testing, and control validation.
