Job summary

ActiveSoft, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking two experienced SOC Analysts for a contract role. This mid-level to senior position focuses on hands-on triage, alert analysis, and contributing to a transforming SOC.

You will work with Level 3 engineers to improve detection, response, and recovery, participate in threat hunting, and help drive playbooks and tooling improvements. Hybrid work is offered with two onsite days per week; remote is possible for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on SOC experience.
• Experience in Level 2/3 SOC roles preferred.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and enterprise security tooling.
• Ability to improve SOC processes and transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced triage and analysis of security incidents and alerts.
• Collaborate with Level 3 Cyber Defense engineers and leadership to improve detection, response, and recovery.
• Provide consulting support during SOC transformation efforts.
• Help drive improvements in incident response workflows, playbooks, and tools.
• Participate in threat hunting, vulnerability management, and proactive defense activities.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to share insights and support cross-functional security efforts.
