Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Information Data Architect to join our hybrid team across our Worcester, MA / Windsor, CT / Michigan offices. You will design and govern analytical datasets, transform complex data into actionable intelligence, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support decision making.

This full-time exempt role requires strong SQL and Python skills, experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, and Informatica, plus a background in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 2+ years in data engineering, ETL, data modeling, analysis, or analytics delivery.
• Strong SQL skills for large datasets and data profiling.

Responsibilities

• Translate reporting requirements into analytical datasets and KPI logic.
• Document source-to-target mappings and data lineage across systems.
• Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Handle XML/JSON parsing and data validation across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and data governance.
