Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer in Raleigh, NC. The role supports the IWTO team across the United States with hybrid work, requiring a strong background in water and wastewater treatment design and project execution.

You will design treatment systems, mentor junior staff, and contribute to studies through startup and operation. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressive responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• EIT or PE registration in one or more states.

Responsibilities

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare process design drawings, specifications, calculations, and O&M manuals.
• Field work including surveys, QA/QC, inspections, and treatability testing.
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
• Support client presentations and meetings; contribute to business development.
