Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 4+ years of consulting engineering experience for diverse design projects across the United States. The role includes mentoring, providing technical guidance, and delivering complex treatment solutions from study through operations.

The position is hybrid, with a focus on Raleigh, NC area and occasional international assignments. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• EIT or Professional Engineer registration in one or more states is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare construction documents including mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives.
• Mentor junior staff and guide engineering calculations.
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
• Travel up to 25% for meetings and site visits.
