Global Tax Management in Wayne, PA seeks a Supervisor to lead sales and use tax refund engagements for multiple corporate clients. The role focuses on states, reverse audits, and data-driven refund claims in a highly automated environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in sales and use tax, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage high-volume claims across multiple clients. Hybrid schedule allows up to 2 days in-office weekly.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of sales and use tax experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience preparing sales and use tax refund or reverse audit claims.
• Experience communicating directly with state auditors and clients on refund claims.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Ability to manage high volume across multiple clients and deadlines.
• Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Consulting or professional services experience preferred.
• Experience with state appeals or hearings preferred.
• Experience with data automation or AI tools, a plus.
• CPA not required.
• Refund experience in a single state is welcome; mechanics carry across states.

Mansioni

• Administer and oversee sales and use tax refund engagements for multiple clients.
• Coordinate day-to-day reverse audit support, including invoice review and exemption arguments.
• Collaborate with team and clients to support reverse audit claims with states and vendors.
• Draft taxability answers, prepare taxability matrices, and review refund claims.
• Oversee data extraction from client ERP systems to prepare refund claims.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining relationships and moving engagements forward.
• Communicate with state auditors and participate in hearings and vendor calls to close claims.
• Track state filing deadlines and file claims to appeal levels as needed.
• Resolve complex refund issues with independence.
• Develop working knowledge of Alteryx to automate tax data processes.
