You will supervise tax staff, ensure timely return filings, and partner with internal teams and vendors to optimize processes while maintaining audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or related field.
• 6–8 years of accounting and sales tax compliance experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience in a multi-state tax environment.
• Strong knowledge of sales and use tax compliance and indirect tax regulations.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax compliance staff for sales, use, and property tax.
• Prepare and file multi-state sales/use tax returns for leasing and extended service operations.
• Ensure compliance with state/local tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with accounting, leasing ops, and external vendors on tax matters.
• Oversee property tax filings and coordination of payments.
• Improve outsourced compliance processes and tax systems workflows.
