Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a collaborative Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support indirect procurement across the enterprise. You will lead supplier research, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships to optimize total cost of ownership.

The role requires 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, with strong analytics, Excel, and ERP experience. Hybrid work in Mettawa, IL is offered with minimal travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in corporate travel, vehicles, logistics, or vehicle procurement preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support supplier research, market analysis, and supplier qualification.
• Develop and administer RFPs/RFQs; analyze proposals and evaluate supplier capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, and other terms to achieve competitive total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate with the Indirect Category Manager and stakeholders to support contract development and purchasing agreements.
• Create and review purchase orders in Oracle to support timely indirect procurement activities.
• Process designated indirect invoices in Oracle and resolve issues delaying payment.
• Manage programs supporting logistics, real estate, corporate cards, travel, and leased vehicles.
• Define measures and KPIs with stakeholders; monitor supplier performance and drive improvement.
