Job summary

Vitalant in Denver, CO is seeking a Communications Specialist to support our mission by evaluating, planning, developing and implementing internal and external communications. The role focuses on messaging, content creation, and brand consistency across audiences in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage campaigns, develop content calendars, and analyze feedback to optimize communication effectiveness, while collaborating with leadership and departments to advance organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, English, or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in communications, PR, marketing, or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Experience independently developing communication materials, coordinating communication projects, analyzing audience or campaign information and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CMS, Microsoft 365, email tools and communication analytics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate audience needs and organizational objectives to recommend messaging, channels and timing.
• Develop, edit and coordinate communication materials with clear tone and audience focus.
• Manage assigned campaigns and projects from planning through evaluation.
• Collaborate with communications leaders and partners to gather information and propose solutions.
• Develop content calendars, schedules and implementation plans.
• Evaluate feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and privacy/regulatory requirements.
