Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Public Health is seeking an Immunization Site Reviewer to support the Midlands Immunization Program. The role involves disease intervention, epidemiology duties, and immunization activities for vaccine-preventable diseases.

You will engage health care providers, schools, and community partners to ensure program compliance. Under supervision, you will help meet federal and state requirements while contributing to immunization efforts and public health outcomes in

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree; or an associate's degree with two years public health experience; OR a high school degree with three years public health experience.
• Bachelor's degree may be substituted for required program experience.
• Equivalent education/experience considered with HR approval.

Responsibilities

• Perform disease intervention, epidemiology, and immunization duties for vaccine-preventable diseases.
• Represent the immunization program to healthcare providers, schools, and community agencies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state immunization program requirements.
