Job summary

The S.C. Department of Public Health is seeking an Immunization Site Reviewer to support the Midlands Immunization program. Under supervision, you will perform disease intervention, epidemiology, and immunization duties for vaccine-preventable diseases and ensure program compliance for the Midlands region.

Effective representation of DPH to health care providers and community partners is essential. This role may require working in a hybrid arrangement with headquarters negotiable.

Qualifications

• State minimum requirements: High school diploma and relevant program experience.
• Agency additional requirements: A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required program experience.
• Preferred qualifications: A bachelor's degree; or an associate's degree with two years of public health experience; OR high school degree with three years public health experience.

Responsibilities

• Immunization Site Reviewer performs disease intervention, epidemiology, and immunization duties for vaccine-preventable diseases and the immunization program in the DPH Midlands.
• Represents DPH as a knowledgeable resource for immunizations to healthcare providers, schools, daycares, and other community agencies.
