Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings and BIM models for hyperscale data centers, coordinate with engineers and designers, and help produce construction documents across US projects.

Ideal candidates have strong Revit and AutoCAD experience, experience leading a design team, and a willingness to work in a hybrid environment with offices and field locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update structural drawings and BIM models.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions across project teams.
• Produce clear, accurate construction documents for data center projects.
• Support project coordination, quality reviews, and design work packages.
