Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking a Hydrogeologist Engineer - Water Resources in Houston, TX, with hybrid work options and Austin as an alternative location. This full-time role involves modeling groundwater, developing water plans, and coordinating fieldwork and reporting.

The candidate will work across teams, produce clear analyses, and support client engagements with strong communication and problem-solving skills. A Master’s degree is preferred and Texas licensure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, hydrology, geology, earth sciences, or related field.
• 3+ years of hydrogeologist or water resources project experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build hydrogeologic conceptual models, water balances, and numerical groundwater models.
• Prepare groundwater sustainability plans and water resources reports.
• Support field visits, data collection, well installation, and aquifer testing.
• Assist project managers with proposals, estimates, schedules, and progress reports.
• Take on additional related duties as needed.
