Job summary

DB Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I (0-3 years) to support large commercial/public HVAC projects in Arlington, VA. The role blends education and hands-on work within a multidisciplinary team focused on optimization, sustainability, and digital transformation in the Built Environment.

You will use PowerBI/Tableau to analyze HVAC data, contribute to smart building design, and develop data naming conventions while working hybrid-remote and client-site in the Arlington area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
0-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering technical solutions.
Perform facility condition assessments and smart building design principles.
Analyze HVAC data using PowerBI/Tableau and present findings to clients and project teams.
Write, review and evaluate sequence of operation for Building Management Systems (BMS) Controls.
Support peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
