Job summary

Lone Star College-Magnolia Center offers a state-of-the-art, full-service HVAC program. The faculty provide direction, teaching, and support for HVAC course objectives while fostering a learning environment that serves the community.

The role involves teaching HVAC courses, developing syllabi, evaluating student progress, and coordinating with certification agencies to ensure student success in a hybrid delivery model at the Magnolia Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in AC/Heating & Refrigeration is required.
• EPA Universal Certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years non-teaching HVAC experience.
• Texas TACL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches HVAC courses at various times and locations to meet institutional needs.
• Develops and uses a syllabus for each course or lab.
• Evaluates student progress and informs them accordingly.
• Recruits and advises students in their area.
• Manages classrooms and labs, ensuring labs meet state requirements.
• Assists with student job placement.
• Works with certification agencies to align and support student success.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
