Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for HV/BESS to lead the commissioning scope across typically two to three concurrent projects. You will own planning, readiness, and execution from planning through energization, testing, and turnover, coordinating with customers, utilities, OEMs, and commissioning partners.

You will manage schedules, resources, risks, and documentation while ensuring safety and compliance, with hybrid site work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience with HV substations or BESS is required.
• Strong ownership of technical scope, schedule, resources, risks, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope for 2–3 concurrent projects, including milestones and turnover.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, deliverables registers, and readiness criteria.
• Coordinate readiness reviews, documentation, and acceptance with SMEs and engineering teams.
• Lead field teams and coordinate with customers, utilities, OEMs, and third parties.
• Produce daily/weekly reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
