Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Commissioning Project Manager (HV/BESS) to plan, manage, and deliver commissioning for high-voltage substation or battery energy storage projects. You will own scope, schedule, resources, risk, and stakeholder alignment across 2–3 concurrent projects, acting as the primary commissioning contact for teams, customers, and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects or complex workstreams and leading cross-functional field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope for 2–3 concurrent projects, including deliverables, milestones, schedule, resources, risks, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain a commissioning execution plan, milestone register, and readiness criteria.
• Translate contract requirements, interconnection requirements, and OEM standards into an executable commissioning scope and work plan.
• Lead readiness reviews and verify prerequisites before testing or energization.
• Manage pre-commissioning, cold, warm, and hot commissioning activities and acceptance testing.
