Job summary

Nooter/Eriksen is seeking an experienced HRSG Process Specialist to join our Thermal Design Team in Fenton, MO. This hybrid role focuses on optimizing HRSG performance and reliability within a leading employee-owned OEM.

You will analyze field issues, coordinate resolutions, and lead cross-functional studies to advance technology and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a four-year engineering degree (BSME/BSChE) and 12+ years in power generation, with strong technical writing and negotiation

Qualifications

Four-year degree required; BSME or BSChE preferred.
At least 12 years of experience in power generation, preferably with combined cycle power plants or HRSG OEMs.
Developing technical papers, presentations, design programs and procedures related to process engineering.
Independently managing important, complex technical customer negotiations.
Leading internal or external task teams and driving timely results.
Ability to read, write, problem solve, interpret data and communicate effectively.
Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Analyze process-related field issues and advise suggested approach.
Coordinate technical resolutions and changes to programs, policies, and procedures.
Lead cross-functional study teams to improve existing technology.
Create written summaries to capture best practices and share knowledge.
