Job summary

Nooter/Eriksen Inc. seeks a C&T/Systems Engineer to join the Thermal Design Team in Fenton, MO. This employee-owned company specializes in HRSG design, construction, and solutions for the power industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with strength in thermo-fluid sciences.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical material and complete detailed calculations with precise results.
• Must have mechanical skills for installing testing equipment around high temp/high pressure systems with safety protocols.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with office and field personnel.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications and determine requirements for operation, testing and commissioning of units.
• Write job-level specifications, review bids, and select auxiliary equipment suppliers.
• Develop presentations for jobsite operator training and calibrate testing equipment.
• Assist Thermal Design Engineers with O&M and water chemistry manuals and site-specific manuals.
• In the field, review job stage documentation, participate in equipment factory acceptance tests, and assist in commissioning and performance testing of HRSGs.
• Travel 10%–30% (international and domestic); lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments.
