Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an HR Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to lead second-line assurance across HR services. You will plan reviews, test controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements within a mature QA framework.

You will partner with HR and process owners, deliver actionable insights, and drive continual improvement in quality and risk mitigation. This role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision making and sustained governance across the HR

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking operational quality assurance reviews, compliance monitoring or controls testing within a risk-based assurance framework.
• Ability to assess process and control design, implementation, consistency and effectiveness using documented criteria, appropriate sampling and reliable evidence.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality and control data, identify trends and systemic themes, assess risk and reach evidence-based conclusions.
• Experience writing clear assurance reports and presenting findings, risks, recommendations and escalation points to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform second-line quality assurance reviews and control testing across HR processes.
• Monitor progress of corrective actions, test closure evidence and escalate where needed.
• Develop and apply the HR quality assurance framework, including sampling methods and evidence standards.
• Analyse service quality indicators and translate data into insights for governance forums.
• Record and track non-conformities and improvement observations, coordinating with first-line HR teams.
• Support onboarding of HR teams to assurance expectations and best practices.
