Job summary

Amwins in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and partner with leaders to shape the employee experience.

You will drive day-to-day HR activities, support employee relations, manage benefits, onboarding, payroll support, and broader HR programs in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.

This role offers in-office work with hybrid flexibility after training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience including employee relations and HR operations.
• Experience leading HR teams and partnering with leaders to drive HR initiatives.
• Proficiency with HR systems and business tools such as ADP and Greenhouse.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members and cultivate a service-oriented HR culture.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations matters with sound judgment and thorough documentation.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, business-aligned HR support.
• Respond to employee questions with accuracy, confidentiality, and care.
• Identify training needs and develop programs to support growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Create clear HR communications and materials to support policies and initiatives.
• Administer and support benefits programs, including health, dental, and life insurance; 401(k); PTO; leaves; and EAP.
• Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
• Provide payroll support and work with teams to resolve issues.
