Job summary

Hive + Co. seeks an HR Generalist to manage employee data, answer inquiries, and administer enterprise HR programs within a centralized Ask HR platform. You will support policy interpretation, confidentiality, and continuous improvement across HR processes.

The role is hybrid (3 days on-site weekly: Tue–Thu) with hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m., requiring collaboration with HR COEs and leadership to optimize the employee experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 0 years or 4 years relevant experience in lieu
• Ability to learn and apply HR practices, policies and procedures
• Ability to learn and use HR systems and data sources such as SAP/HR Module
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to resolve complex issues
• Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information
• Flexible to change and be a team player

Responsibilities

• Respond to managers and employees, providing information regarding HR processes and procedures.
• Document cases including steps to resolution and own or assign ownership of cases.
• Administer enterprise HR programs, policy interpretation, and provide administrative support to HR processes.
• Take ownership of enterprise HR programs (e.g., employment verification, tuition reimbursement, vacation donation).
• Maintain and manage employee data forms, records, and reports.
• Perform Tier 1 HR operations and escalate as needed within SLA.
• Manage inquiries via Ask HR and other databases; upskill where needed.
• Research and resolve complex inquiries/complaints and urgent exceptions from business areas/HR.
• Create, assign, elevate and resolve cases per SOPs.
• Respond to and resolve support for employees/stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure documentation is filed/scanned to personnel records; maintain archiving controls.
• Act as change agent; educate on self-service tools; monitor HR ticketing system; create FAQs.
• Provide other support within the People Solutions Center.
• Participate in improvement workshops and projects; contribute recommendations.
