Job summary

Feed My Starving Children is seeking an HR professional to serve as a key management partner. You will support staffing, guide employee relations, interpret workplace policies, and oversee accommodations and leave processes in assigned territories.

The role is full-time with a hybrid setup across IL and MN. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/SharePoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years HR experience preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills required; experience with HRIS and SharePoint preferred.
• Strong collaboration, customer service, coaching, and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to support employees, advise on policies, wellness, performance, discipline, and compliance.
• Staff vacancies: write job descriptions, review apps, interview, extend offers.
• Oversee onboarding, changes, separations, and exit interviews.
• Review leaves of absence and accommodation requests; ensure timelines and compliance; coordinate with Safety on workers’ comp cases.
• Investigate employee relations issues; coach management on change and conflict resolution; draft communications and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate employee information tactfully; protect confidentiality; foster positive culture.
