University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh is seeking an HR Generalist to provide HR support for recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employment relations. The role partners with campus units, ensuring compliance and timely HR processing. Hybrid remote work may be available after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• Past work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday or similar).
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems.
• Executes and audits work transactions and changes per policies and deadlines.
• Provides analytics and maintains personnel files and communications for the unit.
• Contributes to HR policies and procedures per regulations.
• Represents the unit at workshops, meetings, and trainings.
