SMBC is seeking an HR Data Governance and Privacy Lead for a 12-24 month project in New York. You’ll own HR data architecture, governance, and quality, ensuring structured, compliant people data across enterprise platforms and analytics environments.

The role emphasizes data contracts, lineage, and privacy controls while partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams. Qualifications include 10+ years in data architecture/governance, a Bachelor's, and preference for advanced degree.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience designing canonical data models and data standards for downstream consumption.
• Experience defining data contracts, lineage, quality controls, and governance processes.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms and governance tooling (e.g., Collibra or equivalent).
• Experience operating in regulated or highly controlled environments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HR data architecture, governance, and data quality to support compliant, scalable downstream consumption.
• Define and maintain canonical HR data models and system-of-record designations.
• Establish data contracts, lineage, and quality controls for HR data outputs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and analytics teams on data integration.
• Ensure privacy, access controls, and data minimization across HR data structures.
