Job summary

associacareers is seeking an experienced Community Manager (Portfolio) in the San Diego area to own the full lifecycle of a portfolio of associations. You will serve as the trusted partner to Boards and homeowners, lead board meetings, and ensure timely follow-up.

This is a highly independent, relationship-driven role with hybrid work options and competitive compensation. Local travel within the portfolio may be required.

Qualifications

• Direct HOA / community management experience.
• Strong communication with Boards and homeowners.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of your portfolio and act as the primary liaison to Boards.
• Lead board meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Manage association operations in line with governing documents and agreements.
• Review financials and budgets, offering insights and recommendations.
• Oversee vendors, contracts, and capital projects.
• Manage compliance, collections, and risk awareness.
• Conduct site inspections and uphold community standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including the Client Shared Service Center.
