Prestige Hospital System is seeking a dynamic Permanent HIM CDI Coding Lead to oversee the CDI program, DRG/APC audits, education, and compliance across our hospital network.

The role leads a team of coding professionals, collaborates with physicians, and drives coding accuracy and reporting to support high-quality patient care and reimbursement integrity. Flexible schedule and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hospital-based coding leadership with strong CDI experience.
• Experience conducting DRG/APC audits for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Proven ability to educate coding staff and clinical teams on CDI guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the CDI program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular DRG/APC audits to ensure accurate coding and reporting.
• Lead education programs for coding staff and clinicians on CDI principles.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Develop and implement coding quality, education, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor coding accuracy and provide feedback to staff.
• Stay current with coding guidelines and reimbursement rules.
• Lead and grow the coding team to drive continuous improvement.
