Qualifications

• 2–6 years of healthcare regulatory, healthcare transactional, or related experience
• Experience advising hospitals, health systems, physician groups, healthcare providers, healthcare companies, investors, or other industry participants
• Experience with healthcare regulatory matters involving Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other regulations
• Experience supporting healthcare M&A, joint ventures, affiliations, investments, and other strategic transactions
• Experience conducting healthcare-specific regulatory due diligence in corporate transactions
• Experience advising clients regarding licensure, compliance, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, and healthcare business arrangements
• Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, healthcare agreements, physician arrangements, management agreements, and other contracts
• Ability to identify and analyze regulatory issues in sophisticated healthcare transactions
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare regulatory counseling and transactional support for complex matters
• Advise on licensure, compliance, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, and other regulatory issues
• Draft and negotiate healthcare agreements, physician arrangements, management agreements, and other contracts
• Support M&A, joint ventures, and other strategic healthcare transactions
• Interact with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams across healthcare and business practices
