Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in communications or related field.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced community environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage internal and external communication strategies.
• Write, edit, and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, websites, social media, and outreach materials.
• Conduct outreach and engage with community members to assess health needs.
• Assist individuals in accessing healthcare and social services as liaison.
• Coordinate media relations, events, and health education campaigns.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of communications and outreach.
• Manage KCHC Mobile Health unit and events; driver duties may apply.
• Support leadership with executive communications and talking points.
