Job summary

S&C Electric Company in the United States is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join our US Electronics Hardware team. You will design, execute and document test plans for electronic systems and subsystems, and collaborate with suppliers to build testers and fixtures.

You will analyze test data, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with Design, Hardware, Software, Manufacturing and Project Management teams to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Test Engineering and Test Fixture Build.
• Understanding of PCBA and/or Semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and able to communicate across organizational levels.
• Excellent communication and data analysis skills; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Testing & Analysis: Create test specs and execute plans for electronic systems and subsystems.
• Document Control & ECO: Maintain docs, BOM updates, test reports; support ECO process.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor production and suggest design/process improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Design, Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, PM.
• Product Support: Troubleshoot issues in volume production; conduct NMR/RMA testing.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and maintain regular attendance.
