Job summary

Lambda is seeking an experienced Commodity Sourcing Manager to own sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and supply assurance for data center hardware across GPUs/CPUs, networking, and power/cooling infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Hardware, Data Center Infrastructure, Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Legal and Operations to secure supply, optimize terms, and manage risk as our AI compute footprint expands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain roles.
• Experience negotiating supply agreements with hardware manufacturers, OEMs or ODMs.
• Ability to build technical fluency across new commodity areas.
• Proven track record delivering cost and supply outcomes.
• Strong analytical and business acumen.
• Experience in high-growth, long-lead-time supply environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute sourcing strategy for assigned commodities within AI infrastructure.
• Develop category strategies aligned to roadmap requirements and growth.
• Identify supply diversification, second-source development, and risk mitigation.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract terms across hardware categories.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and performance reviews.
• Partner with Engineering, Hardware, Finance, Legal and Operations on sourcing needs.
• Provide market insights and leadership on sourcing risk and cost trends.
