Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Construction Project Manager for ground-up restaurant and retail builds in Reston, VA. This full-time role oversees multiple projects from planning to execution, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality meet expectations in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has proven restaurant/retail construction experience, proficiency with Procore, Primavera, and Raken, and the ability to read blueprints, manage stakeholders, and keep projects on time and within

Qualifications

• Restaurant and retail construction experience, including ground-up and tenant build-outs.
• Experience with construction management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera, Raken).
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site designs.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple overlapping projects.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Project Success: Manage full-cycle construction for multiple restaurant and retail projects, overseeing schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead the Site: Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Manage the Budget: Monitor expenses and apply cost-control measures to keep projects on budget.
• Execute the Vision: Review and implement complex blueprints and architectural designs.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify risks and schedule delays and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams through regular meetings.
