Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Windsor, CT invites an engineer/analyst to support regional and national resource capacity planning and accreditation initiatives. You will perform bulk power system simulations and coordinate with ISO, NEPOOL, and regulators to develop robust studies and documents.

You will participate in committees, present findings, and contribute to long-term planning with strong data analysis and programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and strong analytical foundations.
• Foundational knowledge of probability, statistics, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Experience with programming languages and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform bulk power system simulations using industry-standard tools (GE MARS, SERVM, PLEXOS).
• Coordinate and facilitate work within the ISO and with Market Participants, NEPOOL, ISO committees, and regulators.
• Collaborate to conduct resource adequacy and reliability studies and prepare clear written reports.
• Support participation in regional and national committees, task forces, and working groups.
• Respond to data requests from reliability organizations and regulators.
• Communicate complex analyses effectively to diverse stakeholder audiences.
