Latinas Welding Guild Inc. is seeking a grant writer to own our grants from prospect research to final report, supporting the program team as they serve students.

In your first year you’ll submit about 30 proposals and letters of inquiry and help translate program outcomes into compelling applications. You’ll work with program staff, finance, and the ED on budgets, outcomes, and funder communications, build relationships with funders, and manage timelines across multiple grants in a dynamic,

Qualificações

• 2+ years of grant writing experience with funded proposals.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Experience building grant budgets.
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
• Comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
• Commitment to opening skilled-trade careers to women, Latinas, youth, and underrepresented communities.

Responsabilidades

• Research, write, and submit proposals, letters of inquiry, and budgets to foundations, corporations, and government funders.
• Turn program data and student stories into clear, competitive applications.
• Build and run our grants calendar, pipeline tracker, and library of reusable content.
• Write interim and final reports for every active grant, on time.
• Work with program staff, our finance team, and the Executive Director on budgets, outcomes, and approvals.
• Build relationships with funders through updates, check-ins, and site visits.
• Prepare regular grants updates for leadership and the board.
