Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Government Contracts Specialist in Dayton, OH (hybrid: Mondays and Tuesdays in-office). You will own federal/state contract vehicles, manage end-to-end lifecycle, and partner with Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliant, commercially viable government purchasing solutions.

Responsibilities include managing awards, renewals, amendments, pricing updates, and accurate documentation across internal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and contract documentation.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner for government contract vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, FEDLINK, state MSAs) and ensure compliant, commercially viable contracts.
• Manage full lifecycle of contracts: awards, modifications, renewals, extensions, amendments, pricing updates, and closeout.
• Maintain contract files, records, and reflect information in internal systems and procurement platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to resolve contract issues.
• Maintain calendar of expirations, renewal windows, and reporting deadlines.
