Job summary

Copeland in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage import/export transactions in line with US laws and Copeland standards. Based in Sidney, you will audit activity, implement process improvements, and develop related procedural documents.

You will assign HTS and ECCN classifications, run free trade agreements, screen transactions, and analyze ADD/CVD impacts, handling escalations from various internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or Supply Chain is required.
• At least one year of related experience or co-op/internship preferred.
• Ability to interpret US import/export laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assign HTS and ECCN classifications.
• Execute free trade agreements and country of origin programs.
• Perform screening of transactions and restricted parties.
• Analyze import transactions for ADD/CVD impact.
• Field escalations related to trade data.
