Job summary

General Motors GPSC seeks highly motivated individuals for Global Sourcing Manager roles in a hybrid setting, reporting to a specific location at least 3 days a week. The team covers Chassis Propulsion Structures, Interior/Exterior/Thermal, Battery/FC/Materials, Electrical systems/software, and Indirect Purchasing.

You will maintain sourcing pipelines, benchmark data, and lead supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with GM Audit Services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sourcing pipeline, benchmarking data, strategy presentations, global budget, and on-time metrics.
• Adhere to corporate purchasing and accounting practices and procedures.
• Sourcing strategy, bid list development & management.
• Quote analysis and review.
• Coordinate RFQ components, including Terms & Conditions, SOR compliance, technical documentation & quality alignment.
• Leadership sourcing recommendation and alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Management of sourcing documentation related to RFQ process in adherence to GM Audit Services requirements.
• Support direct material budget activities.
• Lead/Support supplier relationship management initiatives, including Strategic Supplier Engagement and nurture relationships with suppliers by acting as a focal point for commercial issue resolution.
• Perform change management activities.
• Lead or represent the purchasing function in supplier KPI reviews.
• Represent purchasing and support mitigation of supply chain disruptions.
• Promote GM’s behaviors and values and makes customer-focused decisions.
