Job summary

A national law firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Patent Paralegal to support their Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences Practice Group. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of IP experience, and strong skills in patent prosecution. The salary range is competitive, between $110,000 and $135,000, including benefits like medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IP experience supporting Hard Sciences portfolios.
• Docketing knowledge and experience, with CPi software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage docket and patent prosecution practice for assigned client portfolios.
• Review, prepare, and file patent prosecution applications.
• Prepare and file documents with the USPTO and international offices.
• Maintain and update IDS charts and client portfolio spreadsheets.
• Generate status reports for clients and update client dockets.

Skills

Knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international patent rules

Proficiency in filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

Understanding of IP docketing and maintenance

Strong attention to detail
