Job summary

At MFS Investment Management, a Benefits Consultant designs, implements, and manages employee benefits programs to promote well-being and efficient operations. You will oversee processes, including compliance with ACA/HIPAA/MPFML, manage vendor relationships, and drive global pension reviews within a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with Legal and HR leadership, ensure documentation, and lead communications to employees globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-6+ years Benefits/HR experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to protect and maintain highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee benefits processes and systems with emphasis on process improvement.
• Monitor market trends and data related to benefits utilization and program participation.
• Maintain plan documents and ensure legislative updates are reflected.
• Provide input to strategy for employee well-being programs and coordinate US initiatives.
• Manage all benefit vendor relationships and due diligence, including RFPs.
• Create a compelling global benefits communications plan.
• Lead ongoing global pension reviews with governance updates.
• Oversee benefits audits and regulatory filings compliance (ACA, HIPAA, MPFML).
• Address employee inquiries and resolve benefits issues promptly.
• Coordinate benefits administration on Workday and conduct data audits.
• Review leaves of absence and ADA accommodation requests.
• May supervise Benefits Associate staff.
